Penang, 14th November 2023 – First making its Malaysian debut in 2017, the Honda REBEL delivers a ‘simple’ and ‘raw’ looking bobber-styling motorcycle. Like its name, the relaxed and natural riding position has been a trademark for the cruising riders to channel their inner ‘Rebel’.
The REBEL’S mechanical is still powered by a 471cc 8-valve, liquid-cooled parallel twin-cylinder engine that gives strong bottom-end torque and smooth linear power delivery. The Honda Rebel gives a punchy maximum torque of 43.3Nm torque @ 6,000rpm combined with a peak power of 34kW @ 8,500rpm.
The Rebel is also slim with a low seat height making the cruiser easy to manage within low gears. Features such as the Slipper clutch and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) give riders more enjoyment when cruising and confidence during sudden stops.
For 2023, Honda Rebel comes in new paintworks, namely Mat Gunpowder Black Metallic, Candy Diesel Red and Pearl Smoky Gray.
