Boon Siew Honda Will Join MAS 2024 To Announce Thrilling Updates

Penang, 17th May 2024Boon Siew Honda Sdn. Bhd. is set to participate in the Malaysia Autoshow 2024 (MAS 2024) at MAEPS, Serdang to unveil exciting news, including the highly anticipated introduction of Honda ADV350, CB750, XL750 and NX500 motorcycles.

Available to the public starting 22nd May 2024 until 26th May 2024, Boon Siew Honda’s booth offers a touch of difference this year by introducing Honda Technology Corner where it is designated to display a variety of Honda technology that enhances safety and increases the joyful ride for our riders with exhilarating riding performance and power besides offering leading innovation in the market. 

Descriptions of the Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS), Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), Honda RoadSync, enhanced Smart Power Plus (eSP+) and the latest technology, Honda E-clutch will be available at the both in virtual reality (VR) and digital form.

The E-Clutch technology represents Honda’s latest advancement, the first of its kind to entering Malaysia via this exclusive event. Visitors may have the first look of the fresh new tech that empower riders to electronically manage clutch disengagement, harmonizing with vehicle status for a smooth riding experience without the need for a clutch lever. This most anticipated technology will be featured on the next CB650R and CBR650R that will arrive in Malaysian shores soon.

Honda also introduced a dedicated Pro Honda corner. The Pro Honda is the new global oil brand for motorcycle and power products established by Honda Motor that is well received by other countries and now it is available in Malaysia. Visitors may find Pro Honda Scooter mineral and CUB mineral lubricant that is also suitable for big bikes. Both products are engineered to maximize engine performance focusing on three key aspects: fuel efficiency, durability, and cost-effectiveness. 

Additionally, a small ceremony will be held on the 22nd May 2024 to celebrate Honda’s recent accolade from Malaysian Institute of Road Safety (MIROS) through its Motorcycle Assessment Programme (MyMAP). The program has awarded 3 stars to Honda BeAT and Vario125 for their unique Honda brake technology, Combi Brake System (CBS) and 5 stars for Honda Vario 160, Honda ADV160, Honda CBR150R, and Honda RS-X that are equipped with ABS.

This prestigious recognition underscores Honda’s commitment to safety, evaluated across four pillars encompassing UNECE regulations, Conformity of Production, Safety Features and Support Programmes. 

Besides the bike and technology exhibition, Honda also features a Riding Trainer (RT)  which offers visitors the opportunity to experience the riding simulator while refreshing safety riding knowledge in a fun setting. 

Thus far, Honda is the only motorcycle brand that features safety riding simulator at most of its exclusive dealerships, Honda Impian X. It is part of Honda’s effort to encourage riders to experience fun in learning riding tips and safety precautions to increase safety riding awareness, reduce accidents and fatality rates.
